What a wonderful way to end our first Everyone Has A Story series! So many of the subjects have been difficult in nature. But it just felt right to end on such an optimistic note. The Red Balloon was the first song David and I started working on but the last one that we finished. The brilliant Cheyenne Jackson had the shortest amount of time to learn the song of any of our performers and yet he just nailed it with such class and style and heart. Who knows really what we started here. All we know is that we want to continue and can’t wait to hear all the new stories that will come in after the New Year where we start this inspirational series all over again.

But til then, if you see a red balloon, just smile.
